THE INVESTIGATION OF ZORY BALAYAN HAS BEEN SUSPENDED

PanARMENIAN.Net - . As it is known the legal bodies of Azerbaijan by the means of Interpole announced investigation of the writer Zori Balayan. With the efforts of the ministry of RA and the representatives of Interpol in Armenia the question of the investigation suspend has been presented for examining to the supervisory council of Interpol archive control committee. In the department of the public relations of the RA internal affairs the "Armenpress" correspondent was informed that it had been received the answer of the Interpol general secretariat on Saturday. Taking as a starting point the decision of the supervisory council, the Interpol secretary-general Ronald Noble had made a decision to suspend the international investigation of Zory Balayan, taking into consideration that it has political nature and it is contrary to the requirements of the chapter 3 of the Interpol charter. According to the charter Interpol is not engaged in struggle with political, military and racist crimes.
