Before 2005 "Epygi Labs" American Company will provide 20 million dollars for developing information technologies in Armenia. Deputy director of the company Harutyun Akilian has stated this in an interview to "Arka" agency. According to him, the realization of the project has already been started and implies creation of 500 work places in the field of high technologies. Up to now the company has created 140 work places with an average salary of 700-800 dollars. According to H.Akilian's words, the invested funds will be spent on building an Internet-centre equipped with 1000 computers, providing free services and also introduction and field application of technologies for training specialists in the area of programming and high technologies. H.Akilian noted that the Government of Armenia has allocated 2.2 ha for building the Internet-centre.
