Abel Aganbegyan: Armenian leadership not interested in sport facilities construction in SochiDecember 6, 2010 - 18:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences Abel Aganbegyan said that the Armenian leadership has not taken an active stance in implementation of our idea on creation of a large, modern construction company to deal with construction of Olympic sport facilities in Sochi. It would have developed the country’s construction industry and created a high-capacity Armenian company, Aganbegyan said in Yerevan. According to the expert, Armenia could both develop the activity of its construction companies in Russia and widely use its construction materials, which are of a rather good quality. “It would have improved the living standards of people in Armenia, increased population’s profits due to work in an Armenian construction company in Russia,” concluded Aganbegyan.
