NATO eyes Armenian-Russian strategic relations with no worry

PanARMENIAN.Net - NATO is open for countries willing to carry out reforms and accept democracy principles, German Ambassador to Armenia said.

Hans-Jochen Schmidt said NATO eyes Armenian-Russian strategic relations and extension of Russian military base deployment in Armenia with no worry.

However, he noted, the Alliance understands that it will be hard for Moscow to put up with possible NATO membership of Ukraine and Georgia.
