Tomasz Poreba: I have obtained useful information for me in Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with member of the European Parliament, Permanent Rapporteur for Armenia Tomasz Poreba.

The Armenian leader hailed Poreba’s visit to Yerevan and Stepanakert, stressing that it is too important to pay a fact-finding visit and assess the situation on-site during preparation of the report.

“Each assessment, each approach is aimed at assistance to this or that country, region and conflicts settlement. We strongly believe that your report will be such one,” said Sargsyan.

Poreba noted for his part that it is impossible to prepare an unbiased and comprehensive report about a country without visiting it. “I have managed to obtain useful information for me and familiarize myself with the situation on-site. I have included this information in the report. Besides, I will share my impressions with colleagues in the European Parliament,” said Poreba.

The parties also discussed intensification of EU-Armenia cooperation, the RA presidential press service reported.
