16 cases of toxic poisoning recorded in Armenia over first 10 days of 2011

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s chief toxicologist Michael Gabrielyan said that 16 cases of toxic poisoning were recorded over the first 10 days of 2011, including 6 cases of alcohol poisoning.

112 cases of toxic poisoning were recorded in 2010, Gabrielyan told a press conference in Yerevan on January 11.

The expert believes that cases of alcohol poisoning are basically reasoned by alcohol abuse, but not by the low quality of alcoholic beverages in the country.

Gabrielyan added that 41 cases of poisoning, including alcohol ones, were registered in January 2010.
