Manager of ArmRobotX Mariam Nahapetyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that currently organizers are looking for sponsors. According to her, young Armenian robot technicians can participate in 3-5 competitions. ArmrRobotX (formerly ArmRobotics) is organized from 2008 by the Union of Information Technology Enterprises (UITE). During this period, according to Mariam Nahapetyan, around 80 students and school students of Armenia started actively dealing with robot-building. ArmRobotX was organized through the financial assistance of the Armenian government. But no funds were allocated this year. However, competitions of minesweeper robots and drone helicopters will be organized in February. Other competitions are also envisaged to be held in 2011.
