Iran pleased with energy cooperation with Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran is pleased with the pace of energy cooperation with Armenia.

“A number of energy projects are in progress, the others are pending implementation,” Iranian ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saghaeyan said.

“Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Mosvisyan was in Tehran last week to discuss the building of Yerevan-Tabriz oil pipeline with the Iranian counterparts. I am hopeful that the construction will start soon,” he told journalists on February 9.

The Iranian sector of the pipeline will be built by the Iranian side, while the Armenian sector will be constructed with the funds from private enterprises.
