Turkey has nominated Ersin Ercin for the post. An Armenian diplomatic source said on February 14 that support to Turkey’s candidate for OSCE Secretary General is inadmissible for Yerevan. “Support is provided to a friendly country, while Turkey is not such. Turkey issued a similar request for several times, but was rejected,” the source said.
