Expert: Armenian authorities should control tackling anti-Armenian propaganda by AzerbaijanFebruary 21, 2011 - 15:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Historian, professor, corresponding member of the RA National Academy of Sciences, Head of the Armenian History Department at Yerevan State University Babken Harutyunyan said that the Armenian authorities should establish control over the struggle against the anti-Armenian propaganda. “Those historians, who decide to deal with it, should be supported by the country’s leadership,” Harutyunyan told a press conference in Yerevan. He noted that a special policy, which would provide with the opportunity to prevent the anti-Armenian propaganda by Azerbaijan, as well as force Baku into a losing position, should be developed. Harutyunyan added that the Armenian Diaspora should also engage in this struggle.
