Expert: Karabakh’s non-participation in negotiations hampers the process

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryan said that the lack of Nagorno Karabakh’s signature under the statement of the three Presidents in Sochi is a step backward for the Armenian side.

This is the third statement of the Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani President, which is not signed by Nagorno Karabakh, Bekaryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“Besides, the wording ‘parties try to solve the conflict peacefully’ provides Azerbaijan with the opportunity to state in future that it sought a peaceful solution,” he concluded.
