Swiss President to visit Armenia late in March

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed Ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia Konstantin Obolensky handed over copies of his credentials to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

“Today we can state that the two countries have established relations at a high level, political dialogue, while the opening of the Swiss embassy in Yerevan creates new opportunities for the maximum development of bilateral cooperation,” the Armenian Foreign Minister said.

Obolensky said he will do his utmost to boost the bilateral relations.

The two men discussed preparations for the visit of the Swiss President to Yerevan late in March, at the invitation of the Armenian President.

As part of the visit, the official ceremony of the Swiss embassy opening in Armenia will be held.
