BSTDB President: communication with Armenian companies has become easier

PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank Andrey Kondakov estimated positively the Armenian government’s actions aimed at suppressing inflation and improving the business environment in the country.

“We discussed in detail the economic situation and trends with Armenia’s government. They infuse optimism. After a drastic drop of GDP, growth paces are observed this year,” Kondakov told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, the government has taken action to reduce the budgetary deficit, while inflation still remains a serious problem. “We believe that the country’s authorities take relevant measures to keep it within reasonable limits,” noted Kondakov.

“The business environment is improved in Armenia, and “communication with Armenian companies has become easier,” he concluded.
