Armenian speaker offers to involve government in fertilizers importApril 5, 2011 - 16:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan offered to involve the government in import of fertilizers, diesel fuel, agricultural equipment, pesticides and seeds to tackle the problems in agriculture. If the government deals with this process for the next five years, it will considerably contribute to solution of priority problems in the field, Abrahamyan said during a parliament hearing on agriculture problems. “We understand that private sector imports these goods, but it would be more correct to engage the government in the process,” he said.
