PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA RECEIVED IRANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER'S COUNSELOR

President of Armenia Robert Kocharian received today the delegation of the Islamic republic of Iran, headed by the counselor to the Iranian Foreign Minister, head of department of the Foreign Ministry of Iran for CIS states Firdus Dolatabad, Mediamax was informed in the press office of the Armenian President.

The Iranian diplomat forwarded to President Kocharian the invitation of the Iranian President Seyyed Mohammad Khatami to pay an official visit to Iran. Armenian President accepted the invitation, and the date of the visit will be agreed upon by the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.

Perspectives of development of bilateral Armenian-Iranian relations were also discussed at the meeting. --0--
