Samsung launches its Galaxy Tab WiFi version April 10April 9, 2011 - 12:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung announced that it will launch a new WiFi only version of its Galaxy Tab on April 10, according to Geek.com. The tablet will be powered by Android 2.2 and will come with a 7-inch TFT display capable of 1024×768 resolution. It’ll pack 32GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot capable of supporting up to 32GB of additional storage. The tablet’s 12 millimeters thick, weighs is 13 ounces and can easily fit in a pocket or purse. Galaxy Tab will be available without 3G. That means a more affordable device, no contracts, and no need to buy it through a carrier. This change will drop the price of the 7-inch tablet down to a reasonable $349.99, considerably less then the $500 16GB iPad 2.
