AGMI organizes ceremony dedicated to Scandinavian missionaries

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (AGMI) organized a ceremony dedicated to prominent Scandinavian missionaries Maria Jacobsen and Alma Johansson.

Soil brought from their graves was placed in the Memorial Wall and memorial plaques were set.

Citizens from Scandinavian countries and members of the Swedish Parliament participated in the ceremony.

The placement of the missionaries’ soils in the Memorial Wall was accompanied by a requiem of liturgy.

At the end of the ceremony, the guests planted a Scandinavian Tree at the Memorial Alley, AGMI said on its official website.
