Artsakh President attaches importance to IT center establishmentApril 30, 2011 - 14:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 30, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan held a working meeting dedicated to the development of information and telecommunication technologies in the republic. Besides, establishment of information technology center in Artsakh was in the focus of the meeting. Mr. Sahakyan stressed the importance of developing this sphere, saying it is of both political and economic significance for the republic, according to the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President’s Office. The President also noted that it is necessary to establish cooperation with corresponding circles of Armenia and the Diaspora to achieve desirable results. Sahakyan praised the efforts of the Armenian Ministry of Economy, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, the Union of Information Technology Enterprises of Armenia and a number of other organizations, representatives of which were present at the meeting.
