TripLingo launches its first 4 apps with Mexican Spanish, French, German, and Brazilian Portuguese versions. The app provides users with the opportunity to customize a phrase list based on their interests, planned activities and other special circumstances. When users launch the app, they walk through a series of questions that lets them rate how important certain subjects are for them: do they want to know about sports lingo? Do they want to know how to flirt? Do they want to go shopping? Are they traveling with children? Are they diabetic? Are they disabled? Once user fills out this opening survey, TripLingo will generate a list of phrases for them to practice via Flash Cards. And each of those phrases can be modified with a Slang Slider, letting them to see 4 versions: formal, casual, slang, and crazy.
