German Quartet New Generation launches South Caucasus tourMay 13, 2011 - 14:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 14, 2011, Cafesjian Center for the Arts will host the German Quartet New Generation's performance, within the frameworks of the quartet's tour over South Caucasus. The concert program will feature classical and modern compositions of Handel, Caldini and others. The concert will be organised with the assistance of German Embassy in Armenia, Goethe Institute, Cafesjian Center, German Embassy press service reported. Quartet New Generation. Hailed as “four recorder virtuosos” by The New York Times, and “mind-blowing” by the Los Angeles Times, QNG—Quartet New Generation took top honors at the 2004 Concert Artists Guild International Competition.
