14TH MEETING OF THE PRESIDENTS OF ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN TO BE HELD IN PARIS ON JANUARY 26

The 14th meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held in Paris on January 26 on the initiative of French President Jacques Chirac, the press secretary of Robert Kocharian, Vahe Gabrielian announced today at a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, Armenian president is disposed "to business talk with his Azeri counterpart". After Kocharian's and Aliyev's meeting, a joint dinner of the two presidents and Jacques Chirac will take place. Commenting on the initiative of the French president to hold such meeting, Vahe Gabrielian noted that "France has always striven to promote the search for ways to settle the Karabakh conflict".

The press secretary of the Armenian president reminded that in mid-February the state visit of Robert Kocharian to France will take place, and in early spring President Kocharian will visit the Ukraine. --0--
