Mexican Heritage Days in Armenia open with exhibit on Mexican Revolution June 9, 2011 - 17:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 9, Mexican Heritage Days in Armenia were opened with an exhibit dedicated to Mexican Revolution. Mr. Alfredo Rogerio Perez Bravo, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mexico to Armenia (residence in Moscow) delivered an opening speech at the event. The exhibit features 28 photos from Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History, providing a fair insight into one of the most important events of the country’s history. The Mexican Revolution was a major armed struggle that started in 1910, with an uprising led by Francisco I. Madero against longtime autocrat Porfirio Diaz.
