40% OF INVESTMENTS INTO THE ARMENIAN ECONOMY IN 2000 BELONG TO RUSSIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - 08.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "40 per cent of investments, made into Armenian economy in 2000, belong to Russian companies", Russian Ambassador to Armenia Anatoly Dryukov said today in the interview to Yerevan "Iravunk" paper.

Russia adheres to consistent policy of encouraging investments of Russian companies to Armenia, the Ambassador said. He also noted that in order to activate economic cooperation between Armenia and Russia, new impulse must be given to the activity of the bilateral inter-governmental committee. -0-
