Ecotomato invests nearly AMD2b in growing roses in Kotayk province

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ecotomato cjsc invests nearly AMD2 bln. aimed to establish a hothouse market-gardening complex for growing roses, according to the RA governmental press service.

The complex will be set in Goght village of the Kotayk province, with state-of-the-art technologies of the Dutch Dalsem company, opening 30 job opportunities for citizens.

At June 23 sitting, the government decided to extend for three years Ecotomoto’s payments on VAT totaling AMD300 mln, fixed by customs authorities for goods imported before November 1, 2013, within the framework of investments program.

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called on public and media to control target use of privileges provided by the government to the business entities. He also said that this is the 17th decision of the government to approve an investment program amounting over AMD300 mln., thanks to which investment programs totaling AMD61 bln. were received providing 1000 job opportunities.
