French University, HSBC Bank Armenia to tackle ‘personnel starvation’June 24, 2011 - 17:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Official presentation of HSBC Bank Armenia lecture hall took place in French University of Armenia on June 24. Having been repaired for 8 days in HSBC Bank Armenia’s traditional colors, the hall is fit out with modern equipment and is meant for efficient organization of trainings. As Rector Joelle Le Morzellec said, the University conducts policy of cooperation with private sector representatives that allows organizing practical trainings for the students. “According to the agreement reached between the University and the Bank within the framework of the cooperation, HSBC may use the lecture hall for conduction of educational programs and seminars,” the rector said, adding that she hopes for a continual collaboration, as the bank has good traditions of student practice. In turn, head of human resources at HSBC Bank Armenia, Ms. Elvina Aghajanyan, said that 10% of the bank’s personnel are the graduates of French University of Armenia. “Today we have a problem of the so called ‘personnel starvation’, therefore we highly praise the educational experience of the University, and hope that it is the start of a long-lasting cooperation,” she said. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
