PACE monitoring co-rapporteurs to make fact-finding visit to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 19-21, John Prescott (United Kingdom, SOC) and Axel Fischer (Germany, EPP/CD), PACE co-rapporteurs for the monitoring of Armenia, will make a fact-finding visit to Armenia to discuss the latest developments regarding the amnesty and normalisation of the political environment, as well as election reform and preparations for the 2012 parliamentary elections.

They have requested to meet the Speaker of Armenian Parliament, Armenian President, representatives of the opposition factions and members of the diplomatic community, PACE official website reported.
