Urban transport issues discussed at the sitting of Armenian governmentJuly 22, 2011 - 20:57 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 22, Armenian government hosted a sitting of the governing council for South North corridor and investment programs for stable urban development, led by Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. As the PM stated before the launch of discussions, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan was included into the governing council. At the sitting, the experts from the Asian Development Bank briefed those present on the mechanism of Yerevan urban transport program implementation, aiming at creating communication between Yerevan and Armenian regions. Also, a resolution was taken to appoint the Deputy Economy Minister to the position of the secretary of the governing council for stable urban development, governmental press service reported.
