Ecologist: Armenia has no problems with fresh water

PanARMENIAN.Net - The 21st century is the age of fresh water, the production quality of which is not the same as it was 50-100 years ago, said Ashot Khoetsyan academician of the International Ecology Academy.

“If from the physical point of view water may be produced in line with natural cycles, the same cannot be said about recovery of its quality,” Khoetsyan told a press conference on July 30.

In this respect the ecologist assured that Armenia will not see problems with fresh water supply still long.

Khoetsyan stressed that the cost of fresh water will rise gradually, and the day is not far, when fresh water will cost higher than oil.
