ArmenTel expands 3G network in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - ArmenTel announced expansion of 3G network coverage throughout Armenia.

As of August 8, 2011 the 3rd generation network was launched in Armenian cities of Agarak, Ashotsk, Berd, Yeghegnadzor, Kajaran, etc., as well as a number of rural communities.

Parallel to coverage expansion, dozens of new 3G stations were launched in addition to those already operating in major cities of Armenia.

Beeline’s 3G network covers approx. 150 population centers in Armenia, servicing over 2,9 mln people. ArmenTel has been the first operator to have implemented 3G mobile network in Armenia.
