Sopot to host EaP first business forum Sept. 30

PanARMENIAN.Net - Eastern Partnership first business forum will be held in the Polish city of Sopot on September 30 simultaneously with the Eastern Partnership official Summit.

The event is organized by the Polish Confederation of Private Employers and BusinessEurope Confederation. The Polish Foreign Ministry acts as co-organizer, reported the press service of Polish embassy in Armenia.

The event is aimed to work out and provide business community recommendations on Eastern Partnership development in the field of economics and business. The participants will exchange experience, establish business ties and discuss the possibilities of investments and joint projects between EU and EP entrepreneurs and governments.

Hundreds of participants, investors and entrepreneurs, managers, employers from EP and EU countries, representatives of governments and European Commission, as well as experts and economists will attend Eastern Partnership first business forum. Invitations have been issued to Economy Ministers or Deputy Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy, EU Commissioner on Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy confirmed their participation in panel discussion. President of European Parliament Jerzy Buzek and President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso are also planned to attend.
