Ahmadinejad to visit Columbia University

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 21, Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is likely to pay a second visit to Columbia University four years after his first appearance, semi-official Fars News Agency reported.

The Iranian president first visited the Columbia University on the sidelines of the 62nd annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September 2007. He gave a speech on the U.S., Israel and other issues.

Ahmadinejad is slated to visit New York as the head of the Iranian delegation later this month to attend the 66th UN General Assembly meeting, which begins on Tuesday, September 13.
