Argentine to share winemaking experience with Armenia![]() September 17, 2011 - 13:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan met with Argentinean delegation led by Secretary of Agriculture Lorenzo Basso. At the meeting, Karapetyan stressed the importance of Armenia-Argentine cooperation in the sectors of animal breeding, seed farming and wine-making. The Secretary of Agriculture, in turn, briefed Karapetyan on Argentine's experience on the use of modern technologies in hail management. In accordance with earlier agreements, Argentinean winemakers have sheduled a visit to Armenia to share experience with local experts. ![]() ![]() Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
