EU to boost involvement in Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Union Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule has stated that the EU will gradually increase its role in addressing regional conflicts such as Nagorno Karabakh or Transdniestria, Interfax reported.

"We launch the program on restoration of confidence in those regions, and will undertake a more serious role in addressing these issues," Fule said at the 8th Yalta Annual Meeting entitled "Ukraine and the World: Common Challenges, Common Future," on Saturday, September 17. "But, of course, we will not totally change the scope of solutions to these problems in a day," he said.
