As the military man told a news conference in Yerevan, “having liberated Artsakh, Armenians fulfilled the age-long dream of our forefathers, setting both Karabakh and the whole Armenian world free from Turk Askers.” “Independence is precious and Armenian nation must hold it sacred as a church,” the commander said. Dwelling on a probability of renewed war in Karabakh, Mikaelyan characterized it as unlikely in view of strong response of superpowers.
