DOLBY DIGITAL MOVIE HOUSE WILL FUNCTION IN YEREVAN STARTING SEPTEMBER 3

PanARMENIAN.Net - 29.08.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Yerevan "Moscow" cinema, equipped with the modern Dolby digital sound system, will be opened on September 3.

As was reported to MEDIAMAX in "Paradise" company, which has taken the cinema on lease for 25 years from the ministry of culture, one million U.S. dollars are spent on the repairs and Dolby Digital system equipment of the great hall of "Moscow" cinema.

"Paradise" has made contracts with "Warner Brothers" and "Europe Cinema" companies on new films to show in "Moscow" cinema. Starting September 3 "Gladiator" will be on in "Moscow", the world premiere of which was in May 2000 in the USA.

It is expected that tickets will cost average 1000 drams (a little less than 2 U.S. dollars). -0-
