An attempt to hijack a plane, flying from Nakhijevan to Baku with 118 passengers on board, was realized in Azerbaijan on Friday.One of the passengers, threatening with a grenade, demanded to turn the airplane to Ankara, declaring that he wants to visit ex-president Abulfaz Elchibey, who is undergoing medical treatment in Turkey at present, told the journalists the director of Baku airport, Nazim Mekhtiyev.
