Vache Gabrielyan: economy growth in Armenia exceeds global tendencies

PanARMENIAN.Net - 4-5% economy growth was reported in Armenia in 2011, with the figure cited exceeding global tendencies, according to Armenian Finance Minister.

As Vache Gabrielyan stated at Republican Party of Armenia (RPA)- hosed economic conference, “Armenia is entering the stage of stable development, with significant improvement noted in the sectors of services, agriculture, industry.”

“Among measures undertaken by Armenian government to cope with global crisis consequences were assistance to backbone economic structures, medium and small businesses, large-scale social programs,” the Minister noted.

According to Mr. Gabrielyan, inflation rate in Armenia will remain at 4-5% envisaged.
