According to Armenian Transport and Communication Minister, these would foster free economic zone creation at the airport, securing passenger and luggage transfer by new highway and railway. Manuk Vardanyan also noted that a feasibility study for logistics center creation is currently being developed and will later be included in TRACECA International Logistics Center. Main beneficiaries of the construction project estimated at USD 50-55 million are the concessionaire of Zvartnots International Airport, South Caucasus Railway CJSC and others.
