As project manager Aram Shahinyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the website is a welcome initiative especially for tourists as it maps Yerevan with a motto All Events and Places of the City. “This is an informative website about current events. The idea was born about 4 months ago. The site still runs on alpha system due to not being finalized yet,” he noted. According to Shahinyan, the website gives its visitors an opportunity to add any museum, cinema and organization to Facebook. List of Yerevan monuments and cultural sites will later be incorporated into the website.
Yerevanguide.am is a bilingual site, available in English and Armenian. Russian version is planned to be available by yearend. A mobile version will also be developed.
