  Armenian parliament official: CSTO comparable to NATO  November 14, 2011 - 18:05 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) may well be compared to NATO, according to the Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. “CSTO is becoming an increasingly organized force, comparable only to NATO,” Hrayr Karapetyan told journalists at National Assembly. Karapetyan further stressed Armenia’s role in the process, noting intensification of CSTO executive bodies’ activities during Armenia’s chairmanship in the organization. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
