TaghInfo information portal to be launched in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Gayane Mirzoyan’s TaghInfo project presented at Mardamej SICamp brought together 8 participants.

“The portal will provide information on events in Yerevan communities. The project envisages having one volunteer journalist in each community,” Gayane Mirzoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

According to the project coordinator, the website will further comprise information on the community history and other interesting facts.

“Information portal will consist of several sections: community news with a map, announcements and experiments,” Mirzoyan said, adding that team members will participate in Municipality-hosted hackathon to implement the project.

Mardamej SICamp, held on November 18-20, was financed by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and United States Agency for International Development (USAID) assisted by by Internews Armenia and SICamp founders.
