Media report can’t serve as reason to initiate case - Armenian Ombudsman

PanARMENIAN.Net - To protect the rights of those prevented from arriving in Yerevan to participate in opposition rallies, the Ombudsman office must be addressed accordingly, Armenian Ombudsman stated.As Karen Andreasyan told a news conference in Yerevan, Ombudsman office can be reached at 116 telephone number.

“Once the complaint is filed, the actions will follow immediately,” Andreasyan said, noting that a media publication is not enough to initiate a case for citizens’ rights protection.
