RUSSIAN STATESMEN AWARDED FOR HELP RENDERED FOR ARMENIAN EARTHQUAKE CONSEQUENCES LIQUIDATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President signed the decree on awarding some Russian officials with the orders of Mesrop Mashtots and Anania Shirakatsi for the appreciable contribution made to liquidate the consequences of the destructive earthquake in Spitak. The decision was taken on the occasion of the 15-th anniversary of the tragedy to be honored December 7. Co-chairman of the commission for Armenian-Russian cooperation, defense minister Serge Sargsian is presenting the orders in Moscow today. Moscow's mayor Yuri Luzhkov and his deputy for the construction issues Vladimir Resin are among the statesmen to be awarded.
