Armenian government to help private sector boost exportsDecember 19, 2011 - 17:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - For the first time in 20-year history of independent Armenia, the government adopted an export-oriented industrial development strategy, Armenian Prime Minister stated. As Tigran Sargsyan stressed at Yerevan-hosted industrial forum, the development strategy adopted will signal a new stage in the history of Armenian economy. As he noted, the government will be in charge of assisting the private sector in boosting production volumes and stimulating exports. As the Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan in turn, stressed, a country with restricted resources has no other alternative but development of industrial policy through the use of modern technologies.
