RPA youth wing awards best students of Armenia’s military educational institutionsJanuary 23, 2012 - 14:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The youth wing of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) awarded the winners of intellectual competition among best students of Armenia’s military institutions with scholarships. This year’s award ceremony was dated to the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s army marked on January 28. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the Head of RPA youth wing Karen Avagyan and the Head of RPA organization committee Ruben Tadevosyan awarded the winners. “RPA youth wing kicks off the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the army,” Avagyan noted. For his part, Minister Ohanyan expressed happiness for the success of students of military institutions and also thanked RPA for support. “In all fields, particularly in military, knowledge is the most important factor,” he noted. The Defense Minister also underlined the important role of social organizations in strengthening the morale of the army and increasing its combat capability.
