Government's liaison to parliament supports Genocide bill

PanARMENIAN.Net - Series of votes on amendments to the bill penalizing Armenian Genocide denial are under way at French Senate.

Earlier, Mr. Patrick Ollier, the government's liaison to the parliament supported the law criminalizing Genocide denial, with each party offering its position on the motion currently under consideration.

The first to speak was the Sen. Luc Carvounas of the Socialist Party. The party expressed support for the law criminalizing Genocide denial.
