RPA punishes Arthur Harutyunyan for misconductMarch 9, 2012 - 15:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 8, Executive Body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) held a meeting, during which organizational issues were discussed. The Executive Body confirmed parliament ex-speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to the post of the head of RPA headquarters. RPA leader’s report on his and Executive Body’s activity to be presented at the 13th meeting of RPA and the draft resolution of the meeting were adopted. RPA member Arthur Harutyunyan’s conduct in Armenian city of Abovyan was also discussed. “RPA Executive Body resolved to subject Arthur Harutyunyan to strict reproof for his misconduct, given the fact that interpersonal relations mustn’t be transferred to political arena,” the RPA message reads. Harutyunyan known as Palach, is Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s godson, though he joined RPA not long ago. According to media publications, he had disagreements with Gagik Tsarukyan.
