1000 Syrians cross Turkey border in past 24 hours

PanARMENIAN.Net - Some 1,000 Syrian refugees have crossed the border into Turkey in the past 24 hours, a Turkish official said on Thursday, March 15 a sharp increase in the flow, bringing the total number of registered Syrian refugees in Turkey to some 14,000.

"Around 1,000 people crossed the border from Syria to Turkey in the last 24 hours," Reuters quoted the official as saying. "We expect this to continue as long as the operation goes on in Idlib."
