UKRAINIAN PRESIDENT AND ARMENIAN PREMIER TO ACTIVATE INTERACTION IN ENERGY AREA

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the meeting that took place in Kiev today Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma and Armenian Prime Minister Andranik Margarian underscored the necessity of activating the interaction in the energy area. As reported by the Ukrainian media, the parties pointed to the dynamic development of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries, specifically stressing the prospects in the sphere of education. The Ukrainian leader thanked the Armenian government for attention paid to the needs of the Yerevan branch of Ternopol Academy of National Economy - the only Ukrainian higher education institution in the South Caucasus.
