LEADER OF AZERI ORGANIZATION FOR KARABAKH LIBERATION DISPLEASED WITH US AMBASSADOR'S STAND

PanARMENIAN.Net - The stand of US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Reno Harnish runs contrary to international norms and the UN Charter, stated Chairman of Azeri Organization for Karabakh Liberation (OKL) Akif Nagi, when commenting on R. Harnish's stand, supporting the cooperation of a range of US firms with Nagorno Karabakh "seized by Armenians." Moreover, the US Ambassador stated he did not expect any sanctions to follow to prevent these commercial and economic ties. A. Nagi reported that not only the US, but also a number of other countries are involved in activities in Karabakh "not complying with norms of the international law." He demanded that they give up such actions, "otherwise the OKL will organize protest actions near their Embassies." The Chairman of the OKL called such actions disrespect for the Azeri statehood.
